Like with a lot of BBW fragrances, some of the notes (cherry in this case) evaporate quickly. After a few minutes it goes from a dominantly cherry almond scent to raspberry spritzer. The wine note adds freshness and neutralizes the fruitiness of the cherry and almond notes. Without the wine note, I think this will smell like something you’d find in your household (ahem, cough drops and air freshener). Luckily, this fragrance isn’t like that at all. Although I am a fan of cherry fragrances, I do agree that it is headache-inducing at times–especially if the cherry has an overpowering almond note. It’s sweet, but not sugary sweet. It’s also got a tang and a bit of zest which makes it fresh and bubbly.
